Okay, so what is this site, and why should you care?  Well, if you aren’t at least remotely interested in the Video Game Industry, GameQuarry.com will most certainly bore the hell out of you.  But for those who can appreciate bits of statistical related insight into the industry, you may find something here of interest.

To be more specific, I mine data.   As a former IT guy who was side tracked in Video Game PR for five years, I’ve had plenty of opportunies to excersize my geek-ti-tude.    With my brothers servers at my disposal, I was able to model all kinds of industry data.  You know, stuff you just can’t do in Excel. 

Since Leaving the industry back in May, I still remain tethered to much of the analysis and modeling work I enjoyed so much.  I’d always planned on an outlet to share some of my observations, and so I’m obviously pleased, I have a home.

So, while a bit late, here we are, the eight zillionth blog on the internets.  And this time, I actually have staff, consultants, and even more servers… oh my, this should be fun.
